Belisırma Köyü, Ihlara Vadisi'nin tam ortasında yer almaktadır. Belisırma Köyü'ne ulaşmak için iki farklı rota bulunmaktadır. İlk ve en popüler seçenek, önce Kapadokya'dan güneye doğru araçla gidip Kaymaklı veya Derinkuyu gibi yeraltı şehirlerinden birini ziyaret etmektir. Ancak daha önce bir yeraltı şehrini ziyaret ettiyseniz, tur otobüslerinin aksine ters yönden, Nevşehir, Acıgöl ve Gülağaç üzerinden Belisırma Köyü'ne ulaşabilirsiniz. Ihlara Vadisi'nin dibine varacak ve vadideki Melendiz Çayı'nın yanına aracınızı park ederek vadiyi ve Belisırma Köyü'nü keşfetmeye başlayabilirsiniz.
Belisırma Neden Çok Popüler?
Belisırma, konumu sayesinde oldukça özel bir köydür. Çevredeki manzara Belisırma çevresinde daha yumuşaktır. Bu nedenle Kapadokyalılar, köyü Ihlara Vadisi'nin tepesinden dibine kadar inşa etmişlerdir. Bu durum, Ihlara Vadisi'nin yamaçlarına dağılmış sevimli küçük taş evlerle dolu bir manzara yaratır. Evler uzaktan çok küçük görünse de, her biri doğal volkanik tüf içine oyulmuş büyük bir mağara sistemine ulaşır. Bu yedi kilometrelik yol sizi Ihlara Vadisi'nin kuzey ucunda bulunan Yaprakhisar ve Selime Köyleri'ne götürecektir.
Belisırma Köyü'nde Ne Yapılır?
Belisırma, uzaktan bir açık büfe gibi görünür. Ihlara Vadisi'ni keşfeden turistlerin çoğu burada öğle yemeği molası verir. Ancak köy, gezginlere gösterecek birkaç şey daha sunar. Belisırma Köyü'nde bilet gişesinin yanındaki otopark alanından sadece elli metre uzakta fresklerle süslü iki kilise bulunmaktadır. Ala Kilisesi'nin hemen yanındaki küçük şapel ve keten tohumu yağı fabrikası, Belisırma Köyü turunuzun öne çıkan noktaları olacak. Lütfen unutmayın ki Belisırma yerlileri, Keten Tohumu Yağı Fabrikası'nı 1960'lara kadar kullanmışlardır. Keten tohumları doğadan toplanır ve dikey şişin dibinde iki hayvan tarafından çalıştırılan el oyması ahşap değirmende işlenirdi. İşlem sırasında insanlar yan yana dizilmiş şekilde çalışırdı. Keten tohumu yağı, aydınlatmada, marangozlukta ve muhtemelen Kapadokyalıların mutfaklarında kullanılırdı. Bugün Keten Tohumu Yağı Fabrikası'na giremiyoruz, ancak demir parmaklıklar arasından güzel ahşap işçiliğini görmek oldukça kolaydır.
